Playful Home, reimagining the smart home as a more playful and explorative space with the help of tangible interfaces that affect sound and lights in the room.

A box designed for someone to place their head inside, already a strange and silly invitation. But once they do, the box begins to speak. It introduces itself, shares a monologue about being ignored, unseen, unheard.

An exploration of wood and the workshop tools, this project pushed us to get out of our comfort zone and explore wood and its properties. Over three weeks of sweat and struggles to realise that what's on paper often doesn't translate into practice.
