Focus

Focus is a product design project centred on an underserved population: elderly users who want to stay connected but find existing video communication tools overwhelming.

The assistant simplifies the experience to its core — calling family, following exercise routines, and managing reminders — through a calm, large-format interface designed for low cognitive load. Voice and touch inputs work together so users can always find the path of least resistance.

Research included contextual interviews with elderly participants and their caregivers, informing a design system built on legibility, predictability, and warmth.
